THANK YOU!Jody was the only 2009 candidate for mayor who had registered to run against Gary Becker in the 2011 race. Becker's lack of judgment forced her to run a much accelerated campaign which unexpectedly pitted her against 10 other candidates. With very little name recognition, almost no funding, and only two months to campaign, she managed to come within less than 200 votes of the well known Pete Karas, received almost 30% as many votes as were pulled by John Dickert, and took near 40% as many votes as were cast for Robert Turner! Many thanks go out to those on Jody's campaign staff, to those who gave their donations and time to help her in this recent campaign, and to all of you who actively voted for her. But, it's not over yet! Jody is running a write-in campaign for this May 5, 2009 election. Once again, we ask you to visit the polls and write Jody in as your choice for mayor.
